Smokin' Joe Seward
Former UWA Hardcore Champion
(The picture opens up to a small diner, where one Smokin' Joe Seward rests in a seat near the back, next to a large window, where he can admire his 03 Ford Thunderbird.)
(Joe takes a long look at the menu, while adjusting his tie and running his hand through his short, gray hair.)
Waitress - What will you have tonight sir?
Joe - Aaa....let me see, I do believe I'll have me the soup and sandwich meal.
Waitress - What kind of soup and sandwiches?
Joe - I'll take me chicken noodle and bologna.
Waitress - MICKEY! I need a chicken and bologna!
(Joe smiles)
Waitress - Do you need a refill?
Joe - I do believe I be fine!
Waitress - It'll be just a few minutes.
Joe - That be fine.
Waitress - Yell if you need anything else.
Joe - Will do!
(The waitress goes off to attend to other customers, while Joe quietly sips his iced tea and talks out loud to himself.)
Joe - That be one nice car.....good choice ol' Joe.
(The former UWA Hardcore Champion looks at his watch, thinking to himself, so much time has passed since his arrival in the UWA.)
Joe - What be next for ol' Smokin' Joe? Where am I ta go?
(Smokin Joe thinks to himself.)
Joe - No one answered my challenge, I mean, the whole darn roster can't be scared of me, I mean, I know that ain't it. I know that ain't it.
(Smokin' Joe stares contently out the window, thinking back to his reign as UWA Hardcore Champion. The memories flow with ease, taking Joe back to the past glory, but reminding him of the journey ahead. Joe continues to talk out loud to himself.)
Joe - I need me another cause......another belt ta set on fire, just like I did ta that ol' Hardcore one.
(Joe sips his ice tea)
Joe - World Champion? U.S. Champion......maybe, Television......I just aint sure? Or maybe I just need me a good ol' tough opponent?
(Joe continues to sip his tea, thinking about what direction he will take in the UWA while pausing every several seconds to admire his Thunderbird parked outside.)
Waitress - Heres the soup, chicken noodle, and the bologna sandwiches. Your total is five, seventy-five. You may pay up front before you leave, and thank you.
Joe - No, thanks ta you now!
Waitress - Enjoy the rest of your evening.
Joe - Thanks now, ya try ta do the same.
(The waitress walks off and onto her other duties. Joe takes a bite of his sandwich, and a spoonful of his soup. Tonight, this was a great choice for dinner.)
