Historic Old Market
Downtown Omaha Nebraska
The Historic Old Market is a place for those of all ages and tastes. With plenty of fine dining and unique shops, The Old Market is the perfect place for ideas to flourish.
It is even close to the Omaha Civic Auditorium.
The camera goes through the Historic Old Market. Everything from Reds Square to Famous Dave's is seen. After focusing on the Omaha's Prime for several seconds, the picture fades into Spaghetti Works restaurant. Inside features unique light fixtures, multiple fans run by a single belt, an old Ford car for a salad bar, and the best authentic sauces and noodles in Omaha.
Up a small flight of stairs and to the back of the restaurant, sits Smokin' Joe Seward. Tonight the UWA Hardcore Champion wears a most expensive black suit and yellow tie as he feasts on a giant bowl of Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Joe is also savoring a glass of White Zinfandel.
Joe places his fork down after finishing his pasta. Resting back in his chair, Joe casually sips his wine. The waitress makes her way over.
Waitress - How was everything tonight Mr. Seward?
Joe - Absolutely fantastic. I cant eat another bite.
Waitress - Will there be anything else for you this evening Mr. Seward?
Joe - I don't believe so little miss.
Waitress - Here is your ticket. I'Il be your cashier as well.
Joe - Thanks now!
And so Joe pays his ticket, and like a gentleman, tips his waitress generously. After signing a few autographs for other people dining, Joe walks out of the Spaghetti Works Restaurant and stands next to the old train car.
Joe - What a beautiful evenin' now!
With the sun beginning to set on this Wednesday evening, Joe takes in the pleasures of idealistic culture, success, and a full stomach.
Joe - I've heard so much bout that place there.
Across the street from the Spaghetti Work Restaurant, rests the famous
S.G. Roi Tobacconist, located at 503 S. 11th street.
Equipped with a walk in humidor, the S.G. Roi is a one of a kind experience. With all he has heard about the finest humidor in the Midwest, Smokin' Joe Seward walks across the cobblestone street.
Through the front door Joe enters.
Joe - The smell of all things great.
A man with gray hair behind the counter greets him.
Man - Was is all you expected it to be Mr. Seward.
Joe lays his eyes on the walk in humidor in the back of the S.G. Roi. In total ecstasy, Joe replies.
Joe - It be more. This be an unreal place. I'Il bet there be over three - hundred brands in there.
Man - Take a look around Mr. Seward.
Joe - This has made my trip to Omaha all worth it ya know?
And through the door of the walk in humidor Joe goes. Joe carefully looks at all the brands S.G. Roi has to offer. Pacing around the humidor and taking in the smells of the oils, Joe feels as if he is in heaven.
Joe - Sweet Merciful Lord!
Joe carefully debates between several cigars. One, his usual Savoy, two, an Ashton Churchill, and a Cuban, known by the name of Bullet. While thinking, Joe runs his hand through his gray hair and adjusts his tie.
Joe - How ever in the world does one guy decide.
And for several more minutes Joe debates. Finally, after some careful thinking, Joe decides on his usual Savoy Churchill and a pack of Ashton Miniatures. To the counter he goes.
Joe - I do believe I finally decided.
Man - Mr. Seward, these cigars are on the house.
Joe - Really?
Man - Since you've become famous, the business here has tripled. Take them.
Joe - Thank you sir.
Man - No. thank you Joe. For all you do for the cigar image and the cigar life. You are an inspiration to those who love to enjoy a fine cigar.
Joe - I do the best I can.
And so Joe takes his cigars after a friendly handshake. Finally, the UWA Hardcore Champion, Smokin' Joe Seward has stepped into the S.G. Roi. What happens next, involves a French Vanilla Cappuccino with a triple shot of espresso. Yes, indeed, Smokin' Joe is going to pay a visit to the M.J. Java, located next to the S.G. Roi Tobacconist, in the Historic Old Market.
